Keith Jeffords, MD attended the 50th Anniversary Gala for Governor's Honors Program. Hosted by Governor Nathan Deal at the Governor's Mansion on Saturday evening, October 19, 2013. It was a fantastic evening of celebrating academic achievement of Georgia's youth.
Dr. Jeffords attending Governor's Honor Program in 1976. GHP (as it is called), is a program for high school students that allows them a collegiate experience. These positions are limited to 400-600 students each year. There are interview and auditions held at the local, regional, and state levels selecting the "Best and Brightest" high school students in Georgia.
